Air Quality

Air quality science looks at the degree to which the ambient air contains pollution. There are several factors that can affect air quality, both natural—such as from volcanic eruptions or dust—as well as human-induced. Significant outdoor sources of anthropogenic air pollution include carbon dioxide (CO2) from vehicles and aircraft, as well as methane (CH4) and ammonia (NH3) from raising livestock. Indoor sources include formaldehyde (H2CO) from household products and carbon monoxide (CO) from gas stoves. Air quality monitoring networks include satellites, airborne sampling, and ground methods. G2910 Gas Concentration Analyzer

Within Picarro’s family of Ethylene Oxide (EtO) gas concentration analyzers, the G2910 Stack and Indoor Air Quality Analyzer has been configured to enable measurements of EtO at the source of emission. The G2910 supports measurements over a broad range of EtO concentrations, with support for complex gas mixtures, without sacrificing precision and stability. In applications where accurate, real-time quantification of EtO emissions is required, Picarro excels over traditional technologies, such as Fourier-Transform Infrared Spectroscopy (FTIR) or Gas Chromatography (GC). Quantification of EtO from stacks, abatement systems, sterilization rooms, aeration warehouses and building ventilation has never been easier.

G2920 Gas Concentration Analyzer

Within Picarro’s family of Ethylene Oxide (EtO) gas concentration analyzers, the G2920 Ambient Analyzer introduces a platform that supports long-term monitoring of fugitive emissions at the fenceline and ambient concentrations of EtO near communities. In applications where accurate, real-time quantification of EtO emissions is required, Picarro excels over traditional technologies, such as Fourier-Transform Infrared Spectroscopy (FTIR) or Gas Chromatography (GC). Quantification of fugitive EtO emissions from industrial facilities has never been easier.

SI2103 Gas Concentration Analyzer

The Picarro SI2103 gas concentration analyzer delivers ultra-precise and stable measurements of ammonia (NH3) with a parts-per-trillion (ppt) lower limit of detection (LOD) and negligible drift. It is the ideal solution for urban and atmospheric air quality monitoring, studies of particulate matter formation, livestock emission quantification, vehicle emission quantification, indoor air quality and other applications.
SI2103

SI2104 Gas Concentration Analyzer

The Picarro SI2104 gas concentration analyzer delivers precise, real-time monitoring of hydrogen sulfide (H2S) at a parts-per-trillion (ppt) lower limit of detection (LOD). The SI2104 can be used for multiple applications including monitoring air quality, stack emissions, and map emissions, as a proxy for volatile organic compounds from chemical and industrial facilities
SI2104

SI2108 Gas Concentration Analyzer

The Picarro SI2108 gas concentration analyzer delivers precise, real-time monitoring of hydrogen chloride (HCl) at a parts-per-trillion (ppt) sensitivity for atmospheric science, indoor and outdoor air quality, and hazard assessment applications.
SI2108

SI2205 Gas Concentration Analyzer

The Picarro SI2205 gas concentration analyzer delivers fast, precise, real-time measurements of hydrogen fluoride (HF) at parts-per-trillion (ppt) sensitivity with negligible drift for atmospheric science and air quality applications. It incorporates coated components in the critical gas pathway. This reduces the propensity of HF molecules to adhere to pathway surfaces, which improves measurement response time. The SI2205 requires virtually no consumables, thereby offering significant ease-of-use and lower cost of ownership benefits. The analyzer is rugged and easily transportable.
